Joy, I sure made some mistakes in what I sent you. Here is a corrected message.
Sorry that I have missed this and am so late in responding. My Solomon Stateright Ward was not a Junior as far as I know. The possible fathers of his that I have found were not Solomon Stateright, Sr. . Solomon Stateright Ward is my wife's 2d great grandfather who was born c1819 and married Esther Starling in Bibb County, Ark. had two sons born in Bibb County: Simeon Perry Ward 1845–1891 and Felix Ward 1846–1918. Esther and he moved to Union County, Ark. where they had two more sons: John Elbert Ward 1847–1925 and Pleasant Stateright Ward 1855–1927. He later moved to Union Parish , LA. I know by genetic analysis that his ancestor was John Ward, bc 1705 maybe in NC where he made out his will in 1749 (died in 1750); He had a son John Edward Ward, Sr. and one of his children might have been my Solomon's ancestor; John Edward Ward, Jr. had numerous children but according to my research, only one, John Ward (b.1790) could possibly be the father of Solomon Stateright Ward.
