CHILLICOTHE: Ella L. Ward, 78, of Chillicothe, Ohio died 7:56 a.m. Sunday, December 21, 2014 in Westmoreland Place Nursing Home following an extended illness.

She was born April 27, 1936, in Steubenville, Ohio (Jefferson County) to Elizabeth Cunningham Cadmus.
Surviving are children, Bernard "Bink" Ward, Kimberly Ward and Terry Ward, all of Chillicothe; several grandchildren including Nick Stalnaker, Robert Ward, Courtney Ward, Christopher Stalnaker, Angel Ward, Tracy Ward, Billie Eakle, Brandy Hatmacher and Jimmy Eakle; and many great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Robert Ward, a brother and a sister.
Ella retired from Ross County (Ohio) Home Health.

Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 1 to 2 p.m. on Friday, December 26, 2014.
A private burial in Grandview Cemetery will be held for the family.
