MARION, Ohio: Virginia A. Ward Bumgarner Binau passed on August 13, 2012.

She was born March 30, 1929 in Delaware County, Ohio to the late Hartley E. Ward and Mary Annabel Miller Ward.

She first married the late Irwin "Skeeter" Bumgarner; and they had four children, Marvin (Margaret) Bumgarner (both deceased), Peggy (John) Imboden, Tenna (Greg) Chaney, Jacque (Virgil Jr.) Spurgeon all of Marion.
She then married the late Robert G. Binau; and they had one child, Jerry N. Binau of Marion.

She is also survived by three stepchildren, Russell Binau of Marion, Robert Binau of Fremont and Sharon Stoodt of Florida.

Virginia has ten grandchildren, Travis (Ronne) Douce, Traci (Rob) Howell, Troy Douce, Tara (Chad) Swaney, Julie McClarey, Heidi (Matt) Murphy, Brandon Spurgeon, Jerry Spurgeon, Brandi Binau, John (Connie) Imboden, Debbie Schuster; twenty four great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; and extended family in North Carolina. She was a member of Forest Lawn Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Imboden; two brothers, Howard and Curtis Ward; two sisters, Dorothy Potts and Geneive Nauman; a step son, John Binau; and a step daughter, Charlene Jose.

She will be missed by her family, extended family, church family and many friends.

Visitation for Virgina will be Thursday, August 16, 2012 @ 2 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Sopher officiating.
Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
Visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday, August 15, 2012 from 2-4 and 6- 8 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Forest Lawn Presbyterian Church or the donor's choice.
