Hello

I have traced my family back to Frederick Wannell and Beatrice Wannell. They married around 1909 and had a daughter (also beatrice) around 1911 and a son (aloso Fredrick) arounf 1916.

Does this tie into anything anyone else has. there may have been more children.

You should get a flood as most Wannell are from there.

Been tracing My lineage which goes Elias Wannell (1786-85) the rest I'll just give the forename: John, Harry, John W B through to Edward John H Wannell (1915 - 2002), so can help as much as possible as I've also uncovered plenty of other Wannells in this tree.

I am also looking for as much help as possible to this as far pack as possible, fill out any details and also find photographs.

All the best

Chris Wannell
Am doing some research for my cousin whose father was related to the above through his mother Rachel Wannell c1889 born in Southwick. She married Frederick George Johnson we think about 1913. Would be very interested to hear from anybody who may have come across either of these people. We think Rachel's father may have been Edward c1855.
Joan E. Wannell, 1930 England to Texas

Joan E. Wannell was born in England (no other information) in 1930 and married my uncle, Albert Leroy "Bokie" Lyon . They divorced and never had any children. For a while they lived in Oak Cliff, Dallas County, Texas. We had heard she returned to England after a while, but not sure. For a while, she was in New York but we lost contact with her. Joan was of German descent but was born in England.

I have attached a couple of photos of her and my uncle. If anyone has any information on her current location, or you are researching this family, please contact me at jautrey9@comcast.net
Lyon Connections:
http://www.tribalpages.com/tribes/jautrey
Photos and family gedfile

Hi my fathers ancestors were from topsham and his grandfather was Harry Wannell, his father was Sydney or Sidney Wannell. I don't know if it is the same Elias but Sydney had a brother or/and uncle named Elias. If it helps in any way he caught measles or something similar as a child and went deaf and I think another member of his family had Polio but i'm not sure. If any of this rings a bell could you please get in touch as I have only recently started my family tree and cannot ask my father or aunts and uncles as they have all passed away.
