I know we are all entitled to our "opinion" on this, but the facts should also be given consideration.
The wife of the John Waller that died 1723 in England, was not provided for in his will, so it seems doubtful she survived him and came to America.
His daughter, Mary Eliabeth Waller, born about 1648, is shown by parish records in Newport Pagnell, England to have been baptized 23 May 1671 and buried 16 Jun 1676 in Newport Pagnell, England.
As the tombstone of John Waller is no longer there, there is no way to confirm the often cited inscription cited saying "Sacred to the memory of Colonel John Waller, Gentleman, third son of John Waller and Mary Key, who settled in Virginia in 1635, from Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire." The date 1635 is obviously in error since he was not yet born at that time. English Parish records show he was baptized 23 Feb.1672/73. Also the date of the tombstone and epitaph is questioned and may have been written many years after his death and based on incorrect information.
