My GGG Grandmother Was Elizabeth Wallace born June 15, 1804. She married Robert Irwin, born June 22, 1802. They were possibly married in November 1825 in Adams County, Ohio. They lived before 1833 in Lawrence County, Ohio. From 1833 on they lived in Scioto County, Ohio. Elizabeth died January 4, 1889 in Scioto County, Ohio. I am trying to find out who her parents were? Any assistance appreciated.

I am researching the same line as you. My great great great grandfather was WILLIAM IRWIN who married MARIAH STOCKHAM. Of course you know that SAMUEL IRWIN married NANCY STOCKHAM. I would love to work together. There is a marriage record in Adams County, Ohio which shows that Robert Irwin married Elizabeth Wallace on November 2, 1825. The marriage was performed by Samuel Burkitt. I'm not sure this is our ancesters. I will send you further information by Email.

Was your Elizabeth Wallace married to John Benjamin Jenkins

Your Robert Irwin, born 1802 Westmoreland co. pa. could be related to my Edward Irwin, son of Edward Irwin as in 1790 census. By 1810, he had 11 children . I only know of some of them. Curious, I am missing several sons line, but Robert is a definite family name used over the past 100 years, along with Israel, Edward, Jeremiah, William. Could we bounce it around?

My g-g-g parents are the same as yours. I'm also looking for this info (tree is erwin family tree).

Not sure if my line connects but it might. My ggg grandfather is Richard Wallace born 4 Oct 1823 in Vernon, Scioto, Ohio. He married Mary "Polly" Bussey and had abt 13 children. He died 10 Jan 1880 in Brooklyn, Massac, IL. Could your Elizabeth be a sister or aunt? I haven't found anything on Richard's parents yet. Please let me know if you find a connection. Thanks, Cindy

I don't know her parents or siblings. Do you think there's a connection?

It seems likely yet we will have to keep looking. I'm having a great time working on this. I started abt a year ago. I thought the Wallace part would be easy, however I feel certain this brick wall will eventually crumble. Thanks, Cindy
