Searching for any connections to George Washington (G.W.) Walker b. 7/12/1816 Overton Co. TN to Buckley Walker & Mary ( Thornton ) Walker. Buckley apparently descended from a Walker line out of VA > NC >TN in the late 1780's according to DNA evidence. G. W. died 11/15/1899 in Dyer Co., TN, where his descendants have lived for over 5 generations.

I know that a large number of Walker's live in Overton Co. now, but don't know if any have any really deep roots to the 1780's. Love to find any siblings or connections to these early Walker.

Need a researcher from Overton Co. area that can help me break down my brick wall, of at least give me some new leads. Are any of the cemeteries in Overton inventoried? How are the local resources for research?
