Seeking information on William Richard Walker, born 4/8/1816 in VA, came through Lawrenceburg, TN and then settled into Tippah Co., MS. My gg grandfather was his son, Benjamin Franklin Walker, born 12/4/1842 and who first married Martha Jewel Hall (Holley) and then Cynthia A. Nolen. His eldest daughter, Candiss was my great grandmother and married William Howard Walker (another line). Her sisters, Sarah and Mary also married W.H. Walker. Candiss had one child - my grandmother - Martha Alice Walker born 10/28/1897. She married David Short. Her father was William Howard Walker born 10/25/1872 in Tippah Co. His father was John Howard Walker born 7/24/1843 in AL and grandfather was William Neal Walker born 7/26/1816 in KY. Would love to share information on either of these Walker lines.
