Hi Margaret, thank you for the information on Samuel and Rose. Yes, I'm related to Maria Christie. She was the daughter of Thomas Paterson Christie and Maria Paterson. The Patersons are my great grandmother's family (Margaret Patterson) with two Ts. The Patterson/Patersons originated in Portadown, Armagh. Maria was born 22 December 1900 at 5 Holmscroft Street, Greenock. The Patersons were all employed at the Sugar Refinery in Greenock. Maria appears on the 1901 census as a one year old with her family at the Holmscroft Street address. Let me know if you want more info on the Patersons. I have a note that Henry and Maria had a son named Jack about 1936, but nothing to substantiate this. Have you heard of Jack? Good to exchange info.
