I am interested in finding out info about Garrett, Adam, Sally Ann, Charles and a George Waffle. Adam Waffle is in the 1820 LeRay, Jefferson Co., NY census records next to a Nicholas Stage.
The will and surrogate court records for Nicholas Stage state that his daughter Catherine was first married to Adam Waffle, Adam died, Catherine remarried to Robert Conklin. Nicholas Stage's other daughter, Sally Ann married a Garrett/Garret Waffle and had two children; Sally Ann and Charles. Nicholas' will and probate are dated 1841. He states his daughter had died before 1841 and that Sally Ann and Garrett are living in Victory, Cayuga, NY. Also lists a George Olmsted of Watertown, NY, who is guardian to Charles Waffle of Victory,NY. Nicholas Stage and his wife, Maria/Mariah, lived in Theresa, NY at the time of his death. Other children listed are Maria Comstock, wife of Medad Comstock of Galena, Jo Daviess, IL., Heman E. Stage, Henry C. Stage (my ancestor), John C.
