My wife, my son and you have a common ancestor: Hans Waag from Diersheim, married in 1680 to Maria Schreiner. These are my wife's 6th G-Grandparents.

I have solved the problem with the two marriage entries which are listed on the same page, the marriage of Hans Waag and the one of Hans Haag which easily can be mixed up.

I usually say "Hello cousin" because I love to meet cousins.

Hans and Maria are also my 6th ggrandparents. This is awesome. I live in Phoenix, Arizona and am delighted to meet you. Do you have any information about Hans and his life: work, education, his parents etc. My mother was the 10th child of Fred Wagg and Elsie Sellers. Andreas was the father of Fred. Some of Elsie's ancestors fought in the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. The spelling went from Waag to Wagg in the U.S.
Any information that you would share will be greatly appreciated.
