We recently obtained a number of heritage books about the villages in Croatia of interest for Serbs from Croatia, including the ones for the villages from which VUKELIĆ family members emigrated, and I have found no one with VUKELIĆ surname and first name, nickname or family nickname *Pante* in them. In these books emigrants are listed with data on year they emigrated, name of the father and information on whether they have descendants in the new country or not, whether they returned, if they married.
Data was collected in all communities of descendants throughout former Yugoslavia - as there were many migrations of your relatives who stayed in the old country both after the WWI and the WWII.
Also as the word you are referring to is in a different grammatical case than nominative which would be used for a proper first name ( PANTA is a first name in nominative case, and PANTE is in genitive case and means Panta's/ of Panta ) - this is how the first name of the father would be written.
What was your grandfather's name?
What village was your grandfather from and do you know his Vukelić family nickname?
Did your grandfather emigrate/when?
When did this cousin emigrate?
Do you know what kind of cousins they were ( stric, ujak, brat od strica etc)
The village of Vukelići was named after the family, not the other way around - the surname precedes the toponym according to the historical records.
att: village of VUKELIĆI emigrants to USA for the period 1895 - 1920
