Re: Vrabel (Vrabely) name
Do you know where in Slovakia your Vrabel (Vrabely) ancestors lived? I recently learned that my great-grandfather changed his name, in Europe, from Vrabely to Varady. He lived in Kosice before coming to America, but according to his work papers he was born in Bajorvargas, now Bajerovce, in Eastern Slovakia, in 1870.
