I am looking for information on Christina Voss. She was the daughter of Hans and Katherine (Nagel) Voss. Hans Voss served 11 years under Danish rule hired to Napoleon as a soldier. Christina marrie Hans Scheel, who fell from a building and broke his back and died. Widow and 3 young children came to the U.S. in June 1866. Trip took 11 weeks on a sailboat: were almost over when a storm blew them back into the sea. The following year a storm sank the boat on the way over. After 3 years in the states, Christina Voss married John Thompson, an Englishman, in May of 1911.
