I thought I saw an answer to this question here, somewhere, but I can't find it.

I have heard down through the years that all Voses in the U.S. are related in one way or another. I've traveled this country extensively, and know that the name isn't a common one, and is centered in the New England states.

Any help would be appreciated

My lineage does not appear to be related to the majority of Voses, who are mostly descended from Robert Vose of Massachusetts. My first American ancestor emigrated from England in the 1850s, during his teens. He may have been distantly related, but he's not a descendant. His father's name appears to be John, and Elizabeth Vose Tasker may have been a sister, aunt or cousin.
