Sorry, I originally posted this in another thread and realized it wasn't relevant to that one.
I have two curious documents that some of you may want to share (have a few extra copies; 100 pages double spaced and some dark-ish xeroxed photos). These are about a 1920 son of the Teschow family line, known to friends in Minnesota as Max von Blucher and more formally, Friedrich Gebhard Max von Bluecher. Born October 18, 1920 on one of the Mecklenburg estates, fifth of nine children by Horst von Blucher and Erna von Trotha, married 1907. It's 100 pages of "Max's Story," including much information about growing up on the estate and inevitably, WWII. This material must be credited to his friend and riding school student-instructor Mimi Ranwick, who recorded many hours of Max's stories and transcribed them.
There is also a professional translation of the pocket journal he kept while riding with the cavalry to Stalingrad (38 pages single spaced; intense stuff), prefaced by a few pages Max wrote later that has more information about the family estates in Mecklenberg and elsewhere, and the families in them at that time.
