OBITUARY

Mrs. Charles L. Press, 63, of 420 Johnson, died Saturday at Mercy Hospital after a brief illness.

The former Marian A. Volbrecht born Dec. 18, 1913, in Janesville and a 1931 graduate of Janesville High School, was married to Mr. Press March 28, 1931, in Janesville. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters and two sons, William, Mrs. Charlene Hefty, Mrs. Mary Ann Loasching, Janesville, Charles J., Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Linda Weis, Evansville; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Albert Volbrecht, Apple Valley, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Virginia Pfieffer and Mrs. Donna Pfeiffer, Janesville, Mrs. Lucille Perrigo, Rockford, Mrs. Betty Mower, Kewaunee, Ill., and Mrs. Jacqueline Hessian, Loves Park, Ill.

Services are at 1:30 pm Wednesday in Overton Funeral Home, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today.
