Anna Vogt m. Martin Matuschka on 17jun1870, at Pleasant Creek VIC Australia .They are my grgreat Grandparents.Only in formation I have is that they came from Germany .Martin may have brother Christian. Anyone recognise these people ?

I know your message was way back in 2006 but I am wondering if you have any more info you can share on your Martin Matuschka who went to NZ.Do you know what area in NZ he went? or what he did? Did he have a son Freidrich?

Hello Carolyn, Although it's been quite some time since you requested if anyone has any information about Martin and Anna Matuschka. Anna is my Great Grandmother she married Friederick Wilhelm Zeuschner after the seperation from Martin. I am trying to get some information as to where Martin went and I believe he took their son Frederick with him. I understand Frederick had a disability which I would like to know what the disability was?
I have the book on the Matuschka family, however there is only not much information about Martin. I do have his faher and mother's names and his brothers and sisters,
I would be glad if you have any information you could share with me.

Hello, yes Martin Matuschka did have a son named Frederick.
Martin was married to Anna Vogt. Their family consisted of
Anna born 1870 at Horsham Vic. died 1877 At Drung Drung Vic.
Elizabeth (Lizzie) born 1871
Frederick born 1873
Amelia born 1878.
Martin and Anna were married 17/06/1870 at Church of England, Pleasant Creek, near Stawell, Vic.On 18 April 1877 Martin purchased land at Drun Drung. In September 1880 the land was sold; Anna took Lizzie and Amelia to live with the Zeuschner at St.Arnaud, Vic. Anna married Friederick Wilhelm Zeuschner on 11/04/1885 at Horsham Vic. They had 4 children: Frederick William Henry (my Grandfather), Julius Rinhold, Albert Edward and Ivy May.

Still looking for Martin and Friederick. I notice Greame Moad has his death as 1929 in New Zealand but has no certificate.Had a surprisingly emotional visit to Tabor cemetery last year (first time for me). Yes I do have the Matuschka book given to me by Michael. Thanks for all your previous help.

Hi just wondering what information you may have on Martin and Friedrich Matuscha as I have had no luck in tracing them. I was told that Friedrich had a disability and would be very interesed to find what it was.
