I don't think so. My Anton died in 1933, he was well into his 50's or 60's.

Hi David, I think we may be related. My Mother, Clara Vogt Howard, daughter of Anton and Marie Vogt, and sister of Paul Robert Vogt mentioned that her brother Paul had 4 children: John, Joseph, Roy and Lucy and lived in OK.

Anton Vogt is my great great grandfather, his son Paul Robert Vogt is my great grandfather, his son John Paul Vogt is my grandfather, his son Harvey Kenneth Vogt is my father.

Dear David: My father, Carl Otto Vogt, son of Anton and Marie Vogt, of Ada, Oklahoma, was one of seventeen children which Marie Vogt bore. My first cousin is Larry G. Vogt, aretired commander of a nuclear sub and who now is the CEO of an insurance company in Kanasa. I also have a cousin Ken from Ada, Oklahoma. Anton was a master mason who died from a hit and run accident in Dearborn, Michigan. I have no details of the event. Are we possibly related from this line of 'Vogt'? Looking for information on all 'vogt's' from Ada, Oklahoma. My grandfather, whom I never met, was Anton and his wife's name was Marie Vogt. I do believe that possibly they had arrived to this country from Switzerland. He was a professional mason and was highly repected in the clay and brick industry. His death was due to a hit and run accident in Dearborn, Michigan. I have no details, obituary, or other records regarding this line of Vogt's on the paternal side. Do I have relatives out there somewhere? My grandmother bore seventeen children, one every bearing year. This adds up to a bunch of first cousins. Look forward to meeting some of them.
