T.W. Voge Bio - pg 465
Mr and Mrs T.W. Voge ca,e to Langdon early in 1930 when T.W. re-established the International Harvester Implement Business which had been suspended after Fred W. Comnick died in July 1929. He had previously been the International dealer at Fairdale, ND for 11 years. the business was then located at the former Docksteader and Perry livery barn location (now White Mart corner). The nest year he bought the Ramage building and moved the business acrosss Main Street next to the UCT Hotel. William M. Fraley, formerly of Grand Forks, was associated in the business for a time. T.W. died Dec 22, 1940.
Tallak W. Voge and Nellie Anastatia Miller were married Oct 23, 1906 at Grand Forks, ND. Nellie lived in Langdon until October 1943 when she moved to Portland, OR, where she died June 1, 1944. The Voges had six children: Mrs Walter Kost, Beatrice (Mrs Luandel Nelson), Dorothy (Mrs Jacob Hergert), Lyle Voge, Raymond Voge and Warren Voge. At the time of their mother's death Raymond was with the Army on New Guniea and Warren was a prisoner of war of the Japanese. Warren was discharged in December 1945 after 41 months as a prisoner and re-enlisted the following August.
