I am very much intersted in your Mom's information on this family, and hope that it is still available.
My grea-great-grandmother was Sarah Voodre, b. ca 1820 in Quebec (we believe). She married Louis Allor in 1834, (at 14 Yrs.) amd was living in Housfield, Jefferson Co.,until ca 1851, when she and family (6 children) came to Macomb Co., NY.

Sarah Voodre had a brother Peter Voodre who lived in Detroit MI the last half of the 1800's.
