weaving bits and pieces of a tree I came across the name of Mary Vodde that reportedly married a Blaney Palmer Jr. in the late 1800's and had a daughter (Rose or Rosa).
Reportedly this was Blaney's first marriage. Which, by now in what tidbits are shared my way, he appeared to like being the groom but not the husband as one source shares he married at least 3 times and another, via a news article quote, at least 7 times he walked down the aisle (so some of these marriages taking place in Ripley County, Indiana and others taking place in Alton, Illinois?).
From what side research I have done, I came across a Mary (born in 1867) that was the daughter of William Vodde who also had 3 sons (Henry, Theodore, and Christian) that lived in Ripley County Indiana. Then my trail goes cold ... even with her brothers, so no idea if this Mary is the one that once was married to Blaney, or if she chanced to remarry after him or what ever happened to Rose (Rosa) Palmer(?).
