Vize in South Africa

I have found two Vizes who migrated to South Africa.

The first is Thomas Charles Vize, born in Dublin in 1857, educated in Chipping Camden, Gloucestershire and migrated to Kimberley in the Cape Colony some time between 1871 and 1885. He married and had one son before his untimely death. Descendants of Thomas are still living in South Africa today. For more information see: http://vizefamilyhistory.wikia.com/

The second is Ernest Vize, who served in the British Army 1899-1902 and upon discharge, elected to stay in South Africa. His origins are not known: there are Ernests of appropriate age in both England and Ireland. Ernest married (or was joined by his wife) and had at least two children. Descendants are not known.
