Freligh married Violette?? Please help!

Classification: Query
Surnames: Violette Freligh Freliegh Freleigh Freeley Freely Frohlich
Trying to identify an unnamed female ancestor. One of her descendants had the middle name "Violette", which was supposed to be a family name, so I am hopeful you can help me.

George Freligh (b.1775, Rheinbeck, NY) m. Unknown (POSS VIOLETTE??)
Children:
Capt. John "Henry" Freligh (b. 1812, Plattsburgh, NY)
Charlotte Freligh (b. 1823, Plattsburgh, NY)
William B. Freligh (b.1824, Plattsburgh, NY)
George Freligh (b. unknown)
Gertrude Freligh (b. unknown)
Unnamed Sisters (b. unknown)

I know the Violettes were large landowners along the East Coast before the Revolution, so I am thinking one of the daughters of one of these families might have married George (b.1775). From family letters, I can confirm she was living in St. Louis MO in 1848 with her son, Capt. John Henry Freligh, and his family.

Capt. Freligh's son, William Violette Freligh, was given his middle name because it was a family name.

The name Freligh might also have been spelled "Freliegh", "Freleigh", "Freeley", etc. It was pronounced "Freelee", but it was originally the German "Frohlich".

Does anyone have any information on this? Thank you!
