My grandfather also came from Scafati,Italy. He arrived early 1900 and settled in New Haven, Ct. His name was Antonio Fiengo and was a barber. He lived in the Wooster Square area on Fair Stree and his shop was on Wooster Street. I am visiting Scafati on Sept 3rd to research his past. Unfortunately I don't have much information to go on but maybe when I go to Scafati I will find out more information. We don't know why he settled in New Haven and we are looking for releatives that may have been located here.
