I am searching for my 2nd great grandfather. His name is John Columbus Calhoun but he changed his last name when he came through Calhoun Co, Alabama. I am not sure of his true last name.

D: 26 January 1924 in Lawrence County, Alabama, USA

Wife: Elizabeth

I think his name is something like Vickes, Vickery, Vicken, Vicks. I am not sure but it is something like this. Any info is helpful in my search.
