Thank you Larry. It's still a mystery to me as I have found out my grandfather's father's name was Leonard, not Levy.....according to my grandfather's obit. The obit could have been wrong....maybe. My aunt & her aunt are still living, but do not remember anything about Leonard/Levy to say which is his name. My aunt does however remember that Hugh's mom was named Effie as 2 of my aunts ( twins~ Effie & Addie ) were named after both grandmothers.

My sis found my grandfather's obit in our moms things recently. You can also find it the Virginia Pilot on Microfiche at the Library in Franklin, Va. He died at the end of Oct 1966 & his obit appears on Nov 3ed I think...may have been Nov 2, will have to look at my copy.

Again, will keep trying to check & prove that Leonard & Levy are the same. I have the Joseph Vick book & have yet to find a connection, but have not finished the book yet. Will keep a note of the line you suggested & work with it to see how it pans out.
