Mary Vibostak

Mary Vibostak, 91, of Elrama, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, in Jefferson Regional Medical Center. Mary was born Aug. 15, 1918, in Elrama, one of seven children of George and Julia (Jaszemski) Myor.
She was a 50 year member of the Elrama Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Peter W. Vibostak, May 4, 2008;
her three brothers, Mike, Joe and George Myor; her three sisters, Rose Lennox,
Julia Vaughan
and Anne Surgeary;
and a son-in-law, Jim McCombs.
Mary is survived by her three daughters, Barbara (Jerry) Searles, of Castle Shannon, Mary Jo McCombs, of Dravosburg, and Carole (Donald) Scagline, of Elizabeth; five grandchildren, Kevin, Sherri, Chad, Bryan and Cody; and four great-grandchildren, Kayla, Jennifer, Alec and Madisyn. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at 10 a.m. Saturday in the STEPHEN D. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, 1701 State Route 51 (Large) Jefferson Hills. The Rev. Judi Slater will officiate at the service. Interment will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, in Carroll Township.
