I have been going through some papers that belonged to my grandmother. In the papers there is a Certificate of Death issued in New Jersey for a Pvt. Stephen Veselka, 2246071, 12th. Prov. Co. Cas. He died in England on 12 October 1918 and his body was sent to Madisonville, Texas for burial on 9 August 1920. He is buried in the Madisonville City Cemetery according to the Funderal Notice that was also with the paper. The funderal notice list the deat at Bristol, England on 11 Oct, 1918 and that he was a member of Co. H, 107th Infantry. I have never heard of this person and am just curious as to why she had this paper. ET
