Pete Vesco, 59, of Wainwright died early this morning in Twin City Hospital from complications following a stroke.
He was born in Angara, Italy, a son of the late Steve and Maria Bianchi Vesco. He was a coal miner employed by the Wainwright Coal Company until his retirement in 1952 and was a member of the Saint Therese Catholic Church of Wainwright.
Surviving are six brothers, Serafino, Carl, Joseph and Faustino all of Wainwright, Enrico of Sharon Valley and Bertino of Tuscarawas ; four sisters, Mrs. Angelo (Tina) Pasquenilli of Wainwright, Mrs. Lewis (Gina) Gribble of Nineveh, Mrs. Thomas (Rita) Dodson and Mrs. Rudy (Ann) Savoia, both of Akron, Oh., and a number of nieces and nephews.
Requiem mass will be Wednesday at 10:30 in the St. Therese Church with Rev. Fr. Robert Manning as the celebrant.
The burial site was also listed but cut off of the copy I have. The Times Reporter is the newspaper in New Philadelphia, Ohio. I am not related or have more info, just hope this much helps.
