Hi Cousin!

My grandfather was Edward VerLinden, your grandfather's brother.

We have the same great grand parents (Peter John and Bridget Bartley). We believe Peter John's father was Joannes Baptiste VerLinden and his mother was Julia Francisca.

Hello! I am also researching my Verlinden family from Michigan. My great-grandfather was Henry Martin Verlinden, birth date unknown, in Wayne County,MI, died Feb. 25, 1920. He married Madeline Helen Fleury and they had 6 children: Henry Charles, John P., Matthew S., Frank J., Edward A. and Cecilia A. Verlinden. My great-great-grandfather was Peter J. Verlinden from Belguim, who married Bridget Bartley from Ireland and they had 3 children that I know of: Henry Martin, Charles and Edward Verlinden. I'm searching for descendants of a certain Verlinden or Vanderlinden who was married to Maria Julia Cleirens (born 1904 in Beveren-Waas (Belgium).They both emigrated to the US somewhere between 1920 and 1930.

I am searching for any info on the VERLINDEN line. Martin Verlinden b. 11/27/1896 d. 7/10/1959 was my grandfather. He married Alice Catherine Van Erem 5/20/1924. Theodore H. Verlinden, b. 4/6/1864 d. 9/29/1937 was my great-grandfather. He married Maria E.H. Rutten 1/22/1895. Any information beyond that would be greatly appreciated.
