Daughters of the American Revolution has confirmed Edmond Vancel was a patriot. The two questions we need help in resolving is was Jonathon Vancel the son of Emond b. 1725 d. 1815 and was Jonathon Vancel a patriot as well (Sons of Liberty with a price on his head)?
