Hello,

I did a little research and came up with the following:
I have photo copies of Joseph and Julia's SS# applications if anyone is interested - more documents and information to come, as my research continues:

I don't consider this documentation to be 100%, however it is based of data correlation - lining up events, birthdays, places,etc- meaning what you are about to read is probably accurate. I will post updates as more information comes in.

Joseph Vecchione, aka Joe Flowers
Birth Name: Geraroso Vecchione born 1897
The family is from Avellino, near Naples. Avellino is in the northern part of the region, Campania - roughly 30 miles northeast of Naples, near the center of the region

Joe's Parents:

Joe's Dad was Domenico (Dominick) Vecchione - came over in 1901. Joe's Mom was Maria Christina Tomasetta (sp?)
Joe, his mom and the rest of the family came over in 1907.

Joe had two siblings, Domenico and Rosina

-------------------

Julia Vecchione

Guiliana Caprio - SS# application form says Crapia
Ship manifest from Ellis Island says Caprio.

Julia had three siblings:
Angelo, Teresa, and Liberata

Family was from the township of Oliveto Citra, in the province of Salerno, which is also in the region of Campania.

Father was Antonio (Tony)
Mother was Antonia Cozzi

if anyone has anything to add please feel free to e-mail me
