Classification: Query
Surnames: Veal,Parker, Tanner, Pressley, Hall
Looking for information concerning the following family found in the 1880 Dekalb Co., GA census.
Veal, Benj. F. Jr. age 35 farmer GA VA GA
Louisanna 25
Alllie L 7
Mary J 2
Sellers, Alfred age 18 Boarder

I am trying to determine if this Allie L Veal is Lula A Veal, b November 24, 1871,
married Brown Parker in dekalb County GA. Lula died February 2, 1901 and is buried at Redan

Community Cemetary.

In 1870, this Benjamin is found in the home of Francis and Anna Veal and is only a few households

away from Mariah Parker (grandmother of Brown Parker) and John William Parker (father of Brown

Parker).

John William Parker's military record has that B.F. Veal stated that he had known Parker all his

life. They were in the same unit.

Brown Parker's grandfather, James Parker, is said to be buried at the Smith-Veal cemetary in

Dekalb Co. GA, with other members in this family: V A Veal, Jr., F M Veal, Francis Veal, William

Veal Sr., William Veal Jr

Benj married Louisiana Parker Hall, 11/23/1871
Louisa A Parker married John W. Hall, son of Thomas C. Hall, 12/29/1868
Thomas E Hall married Mary L Parker, daughter of James and Mariah 12/17/1868

I realize that all of the above is circumstantial and any help in either proving or disproving

that Allie L and Lula A are the same person would be greatly appreciated.
