Dear Gael:

My grandmother's maiden name was Vera (Varia) Mae Van Zile. The daughter of John Wesley and Mary Jane (DeBow) Van Zile, she was born in Ridgewood, NJ. She married my grandfather, Frederick Neske, around the turn of the century and they raised their large family - including my mother, Helen - in a house on Glen Avenue in Ridgewood.
