Yes, you are a cousin. Homer and Sarah would have been my great uncle and aunt. I have a bit of family history, including profiles for my grandfather Howard, and great-grandfather, Charles Abrham from Rochester, MN.
I have the lineage traced back to Gerritt Jansen Van Campen who had arrived in the New Amsterdam colony in 1658.

I was contacted earlier this year by another cousin in Oroville, CA who is a granddaughter of Homer as well. Her parents were Charles and Mary Van Campen, and her name is Joan Lee Van Campen. She had also sent to me family information and photos of her family, Homer & Sadie, Charles, and Mabel VC Kahler.

There is a webpage with the title of DeckerFamilyJourney.com which is a great resource for early Van Campens in the Warren County and Sussex County area in New Jersey.
