Greetings all,
Over the years I have visited hundreds of websites that contain information on the Vaden Family. Problem is I do not always remember to bookmark the site.
I have given thought to creating a website that would serve as a single source repository of Vaden history. It's name would be something like "The Vaden Family Historical Association". I would be interested in knowing if there would be any interest out there in participating in such an endeavor.
The type of information that could be included would be:
Obituary Listings
Wills
Links to individual websites
Biographies
Births/Death/Marriage/Adoptions
Military service
Photos (Individual,Tombstones, etc)
Family Group Pages
Individual e-mail addresses and specific surnames. This would include Vaden as well as surnames that married Vaden's.
etc
A lot of the information would appear like what one would see at the county links on
www.rootsweb.com, yet specific to the Vaden name. I would be interested in new information as well as linking to specific websites containing Vaden information (i.e., census data, marriage data, tombstone pictures).
