LIBERTY, OH – Patrick John Vaccaro passed on Monday, April 1, 2013, at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.
Patrick was born in Sharon, Pa., on Sept. 3, 1946, the son of Patrick and Julia Ross Vaccaro.
He attended the St. Joseph school system and later graduated from Sharon High School. Patrick then continued his education at Edinboro College.
Serving during Vietnam, Patrick entered the U.S. Army on Nov. 17, 1966. He was assigned to the U.S. Army Honor Guard.He was honorably discharged on Nov. 16, 1968.
After returning to civilian life, he began his career as a loan officer with Peoples Bank of Youngstown, Ohio.
He later relocated to Orlando, Florida where he was very successful in real estate.
Patrick had the privilege of joining the “Million Dollar Listing Club.”
When he returned to the Shenango Valley, Patrick spent the remainder of his career involved in the automobile industry.
He had been the general sales manager for Shenango Honda and retired from his position in the sales and leasing department in December of 2012.
Patrick will always be remembered for his wonderful wit and personality that made him so successful in the sales industry.
He was an avid Cleveland Browns.
Patrick leaves his beloved wife, Jill Routman Vaccaro; his son, Patrick J. Vaccaro of Sharon, Pa.; his sister, Camille (David) MacHarg of Hermitage, Pa.; his niece; his nephew; and his many relatives he so enjoyed spending time with at family gatherings.
Preceding Patrick were his parents.
The family requests that material tributes may be made in memory of Patrick to Hospice of the Valley, American Cancer Society or to the Congregation Rodef Sholom.
At the request of Patrick, there will be no formal funeral service and a private interment will be held in Florida.
Arrangements for Patrick were entrusted to the Borowski Funeral Service and Oak Meadow Cremation Services.
