My heritage is German and I have been doing Genealogy on
the Uttecht and Pittack line for years. I would love to
make connections with someone who is researching this same area.
My family mostly settled in the Norfolk Nebraska area. My grandfather
was Arnold Uttecht. Please email me if you know of any
Uttecht information. Thanks

Have you anything about ancestors of brothers Herman, August, and Otto Pittack?

my great-grandfather was Henry Uttecht and I think his father's name was Ferdinand. I know he came from quite a large family. Henry married Stella Vylidahl, also from the Norfolk, NE area. I think they lived in Pierce. One of Stella's sisters, Lydia, married one of Henry's brothers, Herman, I think. Herman passed away not too many years after that.
I would e-mail you but couldn't find your e-mail address listed.

Surnames: Pittack, VanDoren, Sewell
Jim,
I see that this message was posted over a year ago, but I hope you get this. If you are still looking for Pittack information, my mom has a ton of information on the Norfolk NE area Pittacks. Arnold and Alvina were her aunt and uncle. Are you Barney's son or grandson? The Pittack reunion is always the Sunday after Fathers day. Would love to see you sometime.

Jim,
I am also researching this name. It goes back to Brandenburg, Germany in the mid-1800s. Do you know what the name means?
My relatives settled in Milwaukee. Herman Frederick Frank Utech was the the first to come in 1853.
