Does anyone have Maud in their tree.
She married Fred Maskell 3rd Q 1899 in Sussex England.
Maud was born in Southwold Suffolk, it appears she may have had a daughter Gladys Maude E Upcraft b. 1896 Blything (surname spelt differently). On the 1901c she is listed as Maud Marker.
Thanks
Ann

I have just noticed your message whilst searching on this website. Maud was my wife's great grandmother. Maud & Fred had a son called Percy in 1900 ( my wife's grandfather). Fred died in 1930 in Rotherfield, Sussex. England. Maud was still alive in 1930 but I can't find where she went after that.Do you have any idea?

I have more information about Maud's descendants but first await your reply.

Sorry for delay in replying to your message.
I believe Fred's marriage to Maud was his 2nd.
He married Fanny Smith in 1888,who died 1898 (unsure if she died in childbirth) and there were 5 children, Arthur 1890, Fred 1890 (both born in same year) Herbert 1895, Alfred 1896 and Jessie the only girl 1898, she was my husbands Grandmother.
His 2nd marriage to Maud was in 1899 in Rotherfield, I also have a daughter for Maud, Gladys born 1896, and their son Percy born 1900. (Gladys surname was spelt Upcraft not Upcroft but that is probably just mistranscribed)
1911 census the family is listed as Mashell living at Hope Villas High Crosss Rotherfield, shows Gladys and Percy also Jessie, Cyril and Herbert.
Unfortunately I don't know what happened to Maud, she may have re-married.
