Surnames: Harrington, Uohni
My g-g-grandparents Daniel Harrington (Uohni) and Margaret Sullivan came to Fall River MA with their families including daughter Hanora Harrington Foley and her husband Edward Foley in 1848 from Ballydonegan, Allihies Parish on the Beara Penninsula, Co. Cork, Ireland. The 1846 marriage record for the Foleys in Allihies Parish indicates the bride was Uohni and witness, was Daniel Uohni.

Hi - I have a Jeremiah Lowney who married a Johanna Uonhi about 1820 in Ballydonegan.

Their daughter Hanorah Uonhi, married a Cornelius Shea in 1841 in Ballydonegan.

Two of the Shea children, Margaret Shea and Timothy Shea, left for the US and settled in the UP of Michigan. Margaret married a Timothy McCarthy in the UP, he happened to be from Ballycrovane.

It is such a beautiful area of Ireland. I have been lucky enough to have visited 3 times now, and hope to someday go back.
