Unbehaun Pictures, Michigan
I am in possession of 2 albums full of pictures taken in the late 1800's early 1900's of Unbehauns and their relatives. Many of the pictures were taken in Michigan around the Ann Arbor and Shiawassee County area, some taken in Illinois. The surnames in my family tree are: Unbehaun, Lutz, Schweikert, Siler and Bahnmiller. Can any one out there help me identify some of the people in these photos?

Re: Unbehaun Pictures, Michigan
Would love to help. UNBEHAUN is my direct line. Have "cousins" who may be able to help as well. How can we view them?

Re: Unbehaun Pictures, Michigan
I put some of the Unbehaun pictures up on my family tree. You can start by doing an Unbehaun search on Ancestry.com Search Unbehaun pictures. I think most of the pictures are Bahnmiller, Lutz, Schwieikert and Siler. I do have a few pictures taken in Illinois that I'm in the process of trying to figure out.
Hope that helps Sheila

Oops! Why don't you give me your email and I will let you see my tree. Will that work or do you have another Idea?

Re: Unbehaun Pictures, Michigan
Sorry, Sheila, found no one familiar. Darn! I was so hoping I could connect my Unbehaun's with another family. Yours appear to have settled in Michigan. I do have one small connection in my fam to that state. Molly Unbehaun and Milford "Roy" Isbell. They had 3 children, Clara, Leona and Leroy. Clara went on to marry another Unbehaun, Robert. I cannot find a connection to the large branch of Unbehaun's from WI., either.

Re: Unbehaun Pictures, Michigan
Do you know what part of Germany your Unbehauns came from? Maybe it's time to visit the LDS library and start looking. As I was looking through the Livingston Co. Michigan land purchases records I saw a Christian Unbehaun, It's he from your tree?

Re: Unbehaun Pictures, Michigan
I believe my great grandmother Harriet Smith married into the Unbehaun family. I have been searching for the family and just found the probable family in 1860 Auburn, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin thanks to you for correcting the surname. Yippy! My grandmother was Carrie Harrington but her sister (half sister) was Mary Louise Unbehaun. I have a photo of Mary and much of her family history, but not before 1880. Sisters Mary and Hannah went to Montana. They wanted Carrie to go too, but my grandfather Thomas Wills went and returned to Michigan. Too cold for him. So our family remained in Michigan. Darlene
