Surnames: Uknavage
My name is Thyrra L (Uknavage) Gillihan. My father, William Louis Uknavage died in Mt Home,AR on May 22, 1995. I have an Uncle Joseph Ukanvage that died a year later. I have found a couple of my cousins, Uncle Joe's kids. I have 2 half sisters(Patricia and Sandra) from my dad's first marriage. I would like to find either one of them and/ or both of them. I would love to find out more on my dad's parents and their parents . I know that either my grandparents or great grandparents came from Lithuania. I found them once, but I somehow lost the printout I had for them. If by some odd chance anyone knows of any of these names, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you. My email is mischief662000@yahoo.com Thanks in advance. Thyrra Lee Gillihan(Uknavage).

When I posted this, I was just wandering in the dark, I think. I was lost and frustrated mostly. Someone on here seen my post on here and send it on to a cousin of mine. I just want to thank you very much for doing that. My cousin, Pam, has been such blessing to me. Thanks to her, I now have pictures of my grandparents and great grandparents. I know more information on my dad's whole side of the family. Thank you sincerely for forwarding my email to my cousin. I would love to be able to meet them one day, but for now I'm satisfied with the world of information she has shared with me. I kept running into walls where the Uknavage family is concerned. I am still running into walls with my dad, but it's getting better. Thyrra L (Uknavage) Gillihan

Morning Thyrra

My name is Barb, I live in Arkansas and I document gravestones, in the cemeteries in and around my area.

Tuesday I was at the Bruno Cemetery in Marion County, Arkansas. One of the markers I photographed was of William Lewis. He was off all to himself sort of lonely I thought to myself. I checked for him in local events and nothing. I like to put a little history of the person - instead of just a name and dates and that he was in the Navy in WWII.

It seemed an unusual name so decided to Google and the first thing I see is his name and you looking for information. I have a picture of his marker, but when I put it up on Find a Grave and Arkansas Gravestones would like to have a little of his history -Where he was born, parents, brothers and sisters, wife, when married, children. Nothing real personal, stuff that would be public records.
If you would like a picture of the marker let me know at dhellhill@gmail.com

Hope your email is still good Have a great Day Barb
