Hi Andrea, we are cousins.

Both of our Great Grandparents were Frank Howard Tyzzer and Sarah E. Tyzzer (Brown or Braun. She was born in Frankfurt Germany).
Frank and Sarah had 4 kids, Edith, Marion, Florence and Howard Josiah. Howard Josiah was my Grandfather. I am Howard Josiah Tyzzer III.

Moving back thru time, Frank's father was Josiah Tyzzer who was marred to Ellen R, Ireland, and his father was Josiah D. Tyzzer, who was married to Mary Ann Roberts, and his father was Richard Tyzzer who was married to a gal named Constance but we don't have a last name for her. (Yet)

Frank had two sisters: Edith and Daisy.

I only have one picture of Sarah E. Tyzzer, and none of Frank Howard. There was a picture of him fishing in a boat on Forge Pond. Last time I saw it was hanging in the Cottage that was located on the Pond. The Cottage was torn down a few years ago. Did you ever see the cottage or stay in it? My brother Andy looks a lot of what I remember of Frank Howard in that picture.

Do you or your family have any pictures of them that you could copy and send to me?

My Email address is jaytyz@charter.net or jtyzzer@yahoo.com

Surnames: Brule Hallett Pepin Tyzzer Shea
Hi Andrea,

Florence and Marion Tyzzer were sisters. Marion married into a family named Shea. Her daughter Dorothy married Roger J. Brule, who died last year on April 15, 2009. He and my dad were good friends growing up. Dorothy (Dotty) still lives in Littleton, Ma. on a house on the lake across from Forge Village.. She has two daughters that still live in the area. They are your cousins too. :-) I have some wild dream of getting all the cousins together some day. For some reason, I did not get to know any of my grandfather’s sibling’s kids except the Brule’s side. Maybe this will bring them out of the wood work….

Dear Jay,

I've just found your exchanges of information on the Tyzzer family. I'm not a Tyzzer, but have been working on a scientific biography of E.E. Tyzzer for some years. Would love to chat by e-mail about his close family, arrival in Wakefield, etc. Please let me know if you can help. Is your e-mail address still as you previously posted - @charter.net?
Best wishes,
Ray Williams
