my ggrandmother (susan l trowbridge, maiden smith)married a charles s tyson in 1930. this was a second marriage for her. in the 1930 census they lived in morris county nj. all i know is that he was born abt 1886/87 in nj. is there a connection?

I'm not sure. The only Charles Tyson I have was born around 1878. That is the only information I have on him.

the charles im looking for worked in a papermill in 1930 hanover (whippany) census shows him to be born about 1886. i really dont know anything else, only that he married my grgrandmother abt 1930. do you know anything at all about your charles?????

My great-grandmother, Josephine Tyson, is related to this family you mention. I believe John Tyson (the fireman) was her uncle. She lived with his family for a time. They all loved near or on Communipaw Ave. in Jersey City.

I am afraid I don't know what happened to Madeleine (Tyson) McLaughlin or her kids, though.
