In the name of God Amen.
I Sarah Washington of Isle of Wight County am Weak in
body but am in perfect sense & Memory. I do make this
my last Will & Testimony as follows to wit: --
Item I give & Bequeath unto my Cousin Timothy Tynes the
Son of my Brother Robert Tynes one Hundred & four-
teen Pounds nineteen Shillings & Eight Pence which
my Brother Robert has in his Hands of my Money
which I Received of Joseph Washington of my part
of my Deceased Husbands Estate & one Bed &
Furniture & one Double Loon & twelve Shillings in
Silver which my Sister Jane Tynes has in her
Hands of mine & one Silver Spoon which it is my will
that he shall Receive all the above Sums when he arive
to the Age of twenty one Years. & in Case he Dies before
he Comes to the Age of twenty one Years then it is my
Desire that it shall be Equally Divided between my
Brother Roberts five Children Robert, Henry, Mary,
Jean, & Sarah Tynes.
Item I give & Bequeath unto five of my Brother Roberts
Children that is to Say Robert Henry Mary Jean & Sarah
Tynes one Gold Ring a Piece & All the Rest of Estate
to be equally Divided between the above five Children
and I give to the said five Children all my part of
my fathers Estate to be Equally Divided between
them.
Item I give & Bequeath unto my Brother Roberts Daughter
Mary one Womans Saddle & one Gold Ring which
my Sister Jean Tynes has got in her Hands of mine.
Item I give & Bequeath unto my Brother Roberts two
Daughters Jean & Sarah Tynes one Gold Ring a
piece & his Daughter Sarah I give one Silver Thimble
& one Pair of Studs which my Sister Jean Tynes has
the said Rings & Thimble & Studs in her hands
to keep for me.
Item I make my Cousin Timothy Tynes the son of
my Brother Robert my Whole & Sole Executor
of this my last will & Testimony. Signed
Sealed & Delivered in Presents of
March the 6. 1764.

on thursday 6th Day of April 1764.
The last Will & Testament of Sarah Washington
Decd. was Presented in Court & being proved by
the Oath of Robert Tynes jun. & Mary Tynes two of the
Witnesses thereto is Ordered to be Recorded. And
Timothy Tynes the Executor therein Named being
under Age, Certificate is Granted to Robert Tynes
he having made Oath thereto for Obtaining Letters
of Administration on the said Decedents Estate
with the said Will Annexed in Due Form.
