[This entry is undated; but the previous entry, No. 258, is dated 1 August 1778. That entry is by Solomon Davis, uncle of William Tynes, for land in the same neighborhood; so my guess is that uncle and nephew went together to the land office. The following entry, No. 260, is dated 3 August 1778.]

in Granville County, on Michaels
Creek, adjoining the lines of Williams,
Davis, & others including the Entry made
by his Father William Tynes and Survey'd
by his Mother in the time of her
widowhood.
