My great grandfather is Albert Dallas Tyler born 1887 in Paris, Arkansas and died in Jan 1961 in Chandler, Oklahoma. This is where it gets complicated:

His parents are Rose Ann Rush who married A.H. Tyler Dec 1886 in Johnson Co., Arkansas. The marriage certificate said A.H. was 21. My great grandfather was born 10 shy of their 1st anniversary. He is their only known child. A. H. dies - cause unknown but probably work accident or drunken brawl incident - and Rose Ann marries Thomas Reed in Dec 1891 in Logan Co. What little family lore I can get is Albert Dallas comes from a line of 'Go West!' dreamers but never made it out of depression era Oklahoma.

Of course, 1890 census doesn't exist so I do not know if Rose Ann was widowed then, but I don't think so since it was difficult for women to remain unwed for long periods of time in that area. In the 1900 census, Albert Dallas is listed as a step-child of Thomas Reed and his father is listed as being born in Tennessee while Rose Ann listed as born in Arkansas.

Several trees have an Albert listed as a child born of Henry Thomas Tyler and Nancy Beal born in 1864 or 1865 in Tennessee depending on tree. None of them have any information on this person after 1880. Could this be MY A. H. Tyler? We have Albert Dallas, Oswald Albert, and Albert in the still living line. My dad is a direct line Tyler male and my brother the last as he has no children. We would like to know so we can keep looking or get reacquainted with out family line. I have a picture of my great grandfather and grandfather (both look just alike) if anyone has photos from any line that might be connected.
