I should have included that in my first post, sorry. I have a birthdate for Robert Tyler as 1637, and a marriage date (to Joan/Joanna/Jean Whatever-her-name-was) of 1663. He was allegedly born in Deptford, near London. However -- and this is a serious however -- all of these pieces of information are from the notoriously error-ridden Abridged Compendium of American Genealogy, so I can't vouch for their accuracy.

Any help you could provide would be wonderful!

Cheers,

Gordon

Hi Bob,

Unfortunately, my Tylers emigrated to America about 80 years prior to that. So while that could be a collateral line, it can't be my direct line back.

Thanks for trying...

Cheers,

Gordon
