Hi Dorothy, I`m not sure if I`m the Judy you wrote this note to but I am a decendant of Jacob Tyger also so we have to be related somewhere in the line. My greatgrandfather was Clark Willis Tiger son of Jacob Tyger. Clarks sister was Mary Jane, his brothers were Charles Harvey and Clarence Erwin or Irvin or our info. is right. hope to hear from you soon. Judy

Hi Judy, Do not believe we are from the same family. Do you know why the spelling of Tyger was changed to Tyger ore the reverse? Dorothy
|
Hi Dorothy, We heard that the spelling Tyger/Tiger was changed because of political choices.( democrats took one spelling , republicans used other spelling) Judy

Hi Ed, My father was Meigs Tyger, his father was D.C. Tyger, his grandfather was Adam Tyger, greatgrandfather was Abraham Tyger, and then Jacob Tyger. Dorothy

Dorothy, Hi this is Eds sister Judy. I have Adam Davids children as Abraham, Rachael, Isaac/Josiah, Mary, Elizabeth, Jacob, John P., Susannah, Eva Ann, Eveline and Adline. Do you know what the D. C. stands for? Our Adam Davids father was an Abraham whose father was Jacob Tyger. We don`t have very many of the children or their children info but would like to know them.

Hello Dorothy: I looked at my copy of a family tree and found a Meigs Tyger born 1885 and died in 1958. He has three children listed Virginia, Clarissa, and Daniel. His father was Daniel G Tyger grandfather Abraham Tyger/Tiger then Adam D. Tiger-Abraham Tiger-and Jacob Tiger from Germany. Could this be the same Meigs?
